Rhythm Rangers (ages 4-7)

Service Description

One Two Three Four! Learn about drums, percussion + more! Rhythm Rangers is an exciting and engaging six-week class designed to introduce young children to the world of percussion and rhythm. In this interactive program, budding musicians will embark on a rhythmic journey filled with fun and learning. Throughout the course, students will have the opportunity to explore the fascinating world of percussion instruments. From hand drums to tambourines, maracas to bongos, the Rhythm Rangers will discover the diverse range of sounds and beats that these instruments can produce. Each week, they will dive into percussion, learning how to create different rhythms and beats. Participants will gradually learn basic beats, experiment with drum patterns, and explore the concept of rhythm in an enjoyable and age-appropriate manner. Through hands-on activities and interactive games, the Rhythm Rangers will develop a solid foundation in rhythm, enhancing their listening skills, coordination, and musical creativity. One of the highlights of the program is the drum circle fun. The participants will come together to create a collective rhythm, fostering teamwork and cooperation. This experience not only boosts their rhythmic abilities but also nurtures their social skills as they learn to play and collaborate with others.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellation policy for group classes (this does not apply to Camps, Indie Band Program, Kid's Choir, or Special Events , which each have their own policies listed on their respective booking pages). For most group classes: (ie, Little Coyotes, Coyote Pups, Kids Group Keyboard, Kids/Adult Group Guitar, Kids/Adult Group Ukulele, Cals Music/Instrument Explorers, etc) If you need to cancel, refunds in the form of original payment will only be given up to 10 days before the start of the class. After that time, all cancellations will be in the form of a credit that can be used towards future Cal Heights Music class tuition or for private lessons. Please note that group lessons may be converted to 15min private lessons in the event only 1 student is booked or shows up for a class. Group classes with less than 3 students may also be cancelled. We will notify you should CHM need to cancel a class due to enrollment, and a full refund to your original payment method will be given. Cal Heights Music must be notified of a planned absence 24 hours before the class to receive a makeup credit, there will be no make ups for no shows. Only one excused absence with a makeup credit is offered per session. Missed classes/makeup credits cannot be used as credit/payment towards future or other classes. Make up classes expire 1 month from the date of the missed class. Classes for babies, toddlers and preschools that require adult participation are for one caregiver + one child only. Due to space limitations we can not accomodate more than one caregiver with a child without advance notification and CHM approval. Thank you for understanding.
