Beats n' Synths Camp (ages 8-12)

Service Description

Get ready to have some fun, make some beats, and use technology to make MUSIC! From computers, tablets, smartphones, to analog drum machines, synths and more! We will get to explore the ins and outs of all things electronic! We will learn how technology can be used to create music as well as how to implement and create samples and use MIDI. We will also explore the history of beatmaking and how it has become one of the most prominent features of mainstream music! From Hip Hop, EDM, Pop, and Rock! Learning to make beats will also give a fresh perspective to drummers, and will teach us all about rhythm, syncopation, and feel! So come join us on this adventure! No prior music experience required. Cancellation policy - No refunds or account credit for missed camp/camp days. - Cancellation permitted at least 15 business days prior to the first class in the form of account credit only. No refunds thereafter.

Cancelation Policy

Cancellation policy for all group classes: If you need to cancel, refunds will only be given up to 5 days before the start of the class. After that time, all cancellations will be in the form of a credit that can be used towards future Cal Heights Music class tuition or for private lessons. Please note that group lessons will be converted to 15min private lesson/s in the event only 1 student is booked or shows up for a class. Cal Heights Music has to be notified of a planned absence the day before or by 9am day of class, there will be no make ups for no shows. Only one makeup is offered per class session. Missed classes cannot be used as credit/payment towards future or other classes. Make up classes expire 1 month from the date of the missed class.
